A nursery is provided during the Adult Sunday School Class and the Church Service. Children join their parents in the worship service from 10:30 to 11:00 then go to their classrooms. Coffee hour is held in the Isabella Gray Room following each Service.
During the summer months, Sunday Church Service begins at 9:30 a.m. Sunday School Classes do not meet, however, a nursery and children's activities are provided.
Our Pastor is in his office every weekday except Monday. He is available for counseling as well as other functions such as weddings, baptisms and funerals.
We welcome all visitors to worship with us. If you are without a church affiliation in The Dalles, we invite you to make this church you home and share with us the joy of discipleship. Our Pastor will be glad to confer with you about church membership.
PUBLICATION
The Lighted Window is our monthly newsletter sent out starting Dec. 05 as a e-mail newsletter to members and friends of our church. Call the church to be put on the e-mail list. It contains a variety of information and news. Also, this site has some of the articles and up coming services are available on this website on the News page. This site also has articles and content not in the monthly newsletter. Please feel free to look around.
PRAYER CHAIN
Prayer concerns are shared via telephone or e-mail. To start the chain, call your prayer request to Jean Emerson at 298-7937 or submit a prayer request, the church office at 296-2909 or e-mail, or the pastor at 296-5785. Monthly updated Prayer Concerns Lists are kept in a purple folder at the bulletin board in the front hallway.
